With its 100° on-axis FOV, the 2" diameter barrel Ethos 21mm Eyepiece from Tele Vue puts you deep 'inside' the 'final-frontier'. Intimate views of larger deep-sky objects and lush star fields are now a possibility. The Ethos eyepiece offers an extremely dimensional viewing experience that's sharp from edge-to-edge, and rich with detail revealing clarity.
The optical performance of the Ethos 21mm features an enhanced level of aberration correction along with technologically-advanced coating techniques and materials. The resulting increase in contrast and light-transmission is enhanced further by the Ethos' superior optical formula and internal mechanical design. This remarkable ocular extends the FOV to the limits of the 2.0" diameter barrel, yet it is free from significant vignetting.
The Ethos 21mm is a logical choice for owners of the 8mm and 13mm eyepieces. It also fits nicely into a 6/10/17mm set. The addition of the 21mm focal length into either line-up offers a 3.0x field area gain.
