Based on the original Nagler design, the 7-element/4-group lens configuration employed in the Tele Vue Nagler Type-6 3.5mm Eyepiece enables it to maintain an impressively long 12mm eye relief and wide 82° apparent field of view despite its short focal length. Built to Tele Vue's exacting standards, the Type-6 features anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics to improve brightness, color rendition, and contrast; a fold-down rubber eyecup, and a textured collar for sure handling in the cold or while wearing gloves.
The Type-6 has a barrel diameter of 1.25" to fit into the most common sized focusers and accessories, and is parfocal with all Tele Vue group 'B' eyepieces, allowing you to change compatible eyepieces without having to refocus every time - saving time and limiting vibrations. Parfocal group 'B' eyepieces include 8-32mm Plossls, all DeLites, 19 & 24mm Panoptic, 3.5-12mm Delos, and 1.25" Nagler Type-5 and 6's.
