16 Launchpad-Style Pads

For finger-drummers, Launchkey 61 features our patented, velocity-sensitive FSR pads with polyphonic aftertouch. Each pad uses a unique radial sensor for greater sensitivity and consistency, delivering tighter, more expressive performances. They can also be set to trigger chords or individual notes with polyphonic aftertouch.

Launchkey's five octaves of semi-weighted, piano-style keys offer the power of a software-based workflow combined with the feel of a premium hardware instrument. Split the keyboard into two zones or Layer two MIDI channels across all keys.

Faders and Encoders

Eight encoders and nine faders provide flexible, hands-on control over DAW mixers, virtual instruments, and effects. Store up to four Custom Modes for faders and encoders, and recall them instantly to shape sounds, balance tracks, or send notes, MIDI CCs, or program changes.

Seamless DAW Integration 

Stay focused with hands-on DAW control. Instantly switch between plugin, mixer, sends, and transport modes to keep sessions moving. In Ableton Live, access built-in Sequencer, Drum Rack, and Clip modes, so you can build and launch ideas without reaching for the mouse.

Workflow and Navigation 

Workflow buttons provide instant access to key DAW functions, speeding up production. Capture MIDI records any performance, even if you missed the record button. Toggle the metronome, quantise clips, or undo/redo with ease. The transport buttons mirror your DAW’s controls for play, stop, record, and loop, keeping your workflow seamless.

Launchkey includes a unique software bundle to get you creating straight away. Ableton Live Lite and Cubase LE help you capture ideas, Novation Play gives Launchkey a voice with its meticulously sampled synths, and you also get additional instruments and effects from Klevgrand, GForce, Native Instruments, and Orchestral Tools — plus lessons from Melodics.
