This recipe can be served raw without any issues. However, if your dog has digestion difficulties or health issues like pancreatitis, or is simply accustomed to warm or cooked meals, you can start by lightly cooking the recipe. Gradually reduce the cooking time until you reach the ideal raw serving, if possible. Maintaining a raw diet is ideal, but if that’s not feasible, lightly cooked is also acceptable.
We emphasize “lightly cooked” to help preserve nutrients and strengthen your dog’s immune system.
