Almost 32 years ago, on October 30, 1988, Ayrton Senna, the greatest Brazilian driver of all time, was consecrated for the first time as a Formula 1 World Champion in the 15th Japanese Grand Prix, held in the city of Suzuka. Interestingly, his car failed at the start of the race, but thanks to his intelligence, dexterity and unique skills as a driver, Senna used the inclination of Suzuka’s grid as a descent to catch the momentum while keeping his foot on the clutch, doing this his car’s engine works in ”stride”, and even after being in 14th place, he kept looking for 1st position until he won the race and became World Champion for the first time. With this feat, and with the proximity of its date, Iron Studios celebrates once again the legend called Ayrton Senna presenting its newest thematic statue of that date. Ayrton Senna 1988 Japan GP Art Scale 1/10 brings all the accessories and uniform used by the pilot , based on references originaly provided by the Ayrton Senna Institute itself. Made in Polystone and painted manually, it includes a base containing a champagne bottle of victory, his helmet and the trophy. The piece features a base with a replica of the pilot’s signature.
