The ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2.5 Series Internal Reservoir (IR) Rear Shock Pair is a high-performance suspension upgrade for the 2007-2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500. These shocks are designed to provide a refined ride for daily street use while delivering the damping consistency required for weekend off-road adventures. By replacing the factory rear shocks with ICON’s application-specific 2.0 Aluminum Series, drivers will experience improved vehicle control and a more composed rear end across various terrains.

- Vehicle Specific Valving: Custom-tuned by ICON engineers specifically for the weight and suspension geometry of the GM 1500 platform.
- Premium Construction: Features a 6063 anodized aluminum body that provides excellent heat dissipation and superior corrosion resistance.
- Internal Reservoir: Utilizes a nitrogen-charged monotube design with an internal reservoir to prevent oil cavitation and maintain consistent damping.
- Durable Shafts: Equipped with 5/8-inch chrome-plated hardened steel shafts that are highly resistant to rock chips and pitting.
- Serviceable Design: 100% rebuildable and revalveable, allowing the shocks to be maintained or custom-tuned throughout the life of the vehicle.
- Quality Components: Includes polyurethane bushings and zinc-plated sleeves for a precise, quiet fit in factory mounting locations.
- Smooth Operation: Features a nitrile rubber top-out bumper to ensure noise-free suspension cycling even during aggressive use.
Notes
- Specifically fits 2007-2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 2WD and 4WD models.
- Compatible with vehicles from stock height up to 2 inches of rear lift.
- On 2019-2025 Trail Boss and AT4 models, these shocks are intended for 0 inches of additional lift over the factory-lifted height.
- Not compatible with models equipped with factory electronic suspension systems such as Magnetic Ride Control or Adaptive Ride Control.
- Not compatible with Chevrolet Silverado 1500 ZR2 or GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X models.
- For vehicles used in extreme off-road situations, ICON recommends the larger-bore V.S. 2.5 Series shocks.
