POST-PUBLICATION REVIEW
Elastic lifting of the eyebrows and temporal region is a modern efficacious procedure, which is performed through a 5 mm incision at the hairline. No tissue dissection is required. If the distance between the eyebrows and the hairline is not short, another thread is implanted slightly above the halfway mark, to distribute the excess skin. Small alterations of the surface of the skin may remain for 8-10 weeks. The patient must be informed of this. During lifting of the eyebrows and temporal region, elastic canthopexy is often also performed, through a small incision at the sideburn. Carrying out volumetric Adipofilling at the same time fills a concave temporal fossa and facilitates restitutio ad integrum. For this reason, elastic lifting of the eyebrows and temporal region is carried out at the same time as volumetric Adipofilling with small lobular fragments.
As is known, the suspensions of small lobular fragments and of single cells produced by means of the Adipopimer do not freeze; they can therefore be conserved in a normal freezer at -31°C and used later to perfect the region, if necessary. (31/10/19)
